A1 Licence
 

All of our post CBT training is done on a one-to-one basis with the same instructor. An A1 licence is a full licence but you are only allowed to ride a bike with a maximum of 125cc. This is a good idea for someone who never wants to ride a bigger bike as it means you don’t have to renew your CBT every two years, you can throw the “L” plates away and you can carry pillion passengers and go on “M” class roads or motorways if you wish. As mentioned in our training overview section, you must have a current CBT and a valid Theory test certificate (which lasts for two years) and you must complete both your module 1 and module 2 tests before your theory certificate expires.
